The Chautauqua Before and After School Programs are designed to provide children with an enriching, nurturing, and safe environment. The program’s focus is to enhance children’s self-confidence, respect for others, and sense of responsibility while promoting development of social, physical, cognitive, emotional and creative skills, which are needed in everyday life.
During the school year, the Chautauqua Program is available in every elementary school from 6:00 a.m. to the start of school and from dismissal until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, following the Chautauqua calendar.
The Early Childhood Program is available at all Early Childhood locations from 7:00 a.m. until the start of the school day and from school dismissal until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, following the Chautauqua calendar.
Please note that the Early Childhood Program is not available during early release hours for Pre-K students.

Child Care contract requests are pending approval by the Chautauqua office. New families will be charged a one time $75 registration fee upon approval of the child care contract.
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now available.
